David Robinson, CFP®

CEO & Founder

David Robinson is CEO & Founder of RTS Private Wealth Management. He specializes in helping professional athletes, doctors, and executives prepare for the future by creating custom-tailored wealth management plans for each client he serves. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, he takes a holistic view of his clients’ financial goals, including retirement planning, growing and protecting wealth, managing taxes, identifying insurance solutions and implementing effective estate plans.

Clients
David serves a select group of clients nationwide who are either planning for or currently enjoying retirement. What his clients have in common is a high degree of success in achieving their professional and business goals. They also share a strong interest in preserving and growing their life savings. David’s clients find that having a sound wealth management plan in place can help them lower taxes, increase their monthly income and obtain better protection for their financial future.

Leadership
David founded the firm in 2000 with a mission of helping successful individuals simplify the complexities of managing wealth. To achieve that goal, he acts as a personal Chief Financial Officer for families with significant assets. With experience managing client portfolios through two recent bear markets (2000-2002 and 2008-2009), David and his team have developed highly effective strategies for hedging risk and generating attractive returns for clients in all market environments. Since founding the firm, David has continued to recruit some of the top talent in the business in order to meet the growing needs of his clients and his firm.

Fiduciary Approach
RTS Private Wealth Management is an independent Registered Investment Advisor, providing clients with fiduciary wealth management services including financial planning, as well as objective guidance and advice. As a fiduciary, David is required by law to act in the best interest of his clients at all times. David is focused on helping clients achieve their financial goals.

Community and Family
Reflecting a strong commitment to his local community, David is past co-chairman of Money Smart Kids of Arizona, a nonprofit organization that has helped parents and their children make more informed financial choices. He served as a financial instructor at the Franciscan Renewal Center for couples who are about to be married in the Phoenix Catholic Diocese for 10 years. In addition, he is a past member of the Finance Council at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Phoenix and a past board member of Catholic Charities of Phoenix. David and his wife Libby have three children—Luke, Nathanael and Josephine.

Professional Memberships and Education
David is a graduate of De Paul University in Chicago. He is also a member of the Financial Planning Association.

Keith Tigue
Wealth Advisor
President
Keith Tigue is President of RTS Private Wealth Management. He specializes in analyzing, designing and implementing effective wealth management planning for his clients. Drawing upon over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, Keith develops strategies for his clients to protect their assets from market volatility, create substantial income tax savings and reduce capital gains tax. He also helps clients preserve wealth through estate tax savings and for the benefit of philanthropic organizations.

Clients
Keith serves a select group of clients nationwide, including successful business owners, executives,  community leaders and professional athletes. Many of his clients are planning for or currently enjoying retirement. Accordingly, Keith helps clients develop comprehensive retirement strategies as part of their overall wealth management plans. Key considerations in the retirement planning process include the need for current and future income, the needs of individual family members and each client’s personal charitable interests.

Experience
Keith’s former associations as a financial advisor include serving as vice president and managing director for Northern Trust Bank in Arizona, where he advised affluent families and individuals on financial strategies to create, grow and protect their wealth. Prior to joining Northern Trust, Keith was the Southwest regional manager for Bank of America’s Private Bank and Trust Department. He also served as senior fiduciary officer for the bank, overseeing all legal, audit and compliance issues. Keith began his career with Valley National Bank in 1981, which was subsequently acquired by JPMorgan & Co. (now JPMorgan Chase). This experience at JPMorgan & Co. helped lay the foundation for a long and distinguished career in trust services and private wealth management.

Reflecting a strong commitment to his local community, Keith served as past chairman of the board of directors for the Catholic Community Foundation. He currently serves on the Finance & Investment Council for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Phoenix. He is a board member of Arizona MusicFest and past president of the finance council for St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Phoenix. In addition, Keith was knighted into the Equestrian order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem in 2006 and knighted into the Sovereign Order of Malta in 2012. Keith is also past co-chairman of Money Smart Kids of Arizona, a nonprofit organization that has helped parents and their children make more informed financial choices. Keith and his wife Anna have three daughters—Briana, Mikayla, Alysia—and a granddaughter, Lilly.

Professional Memberships and Education
Keith served as past president of the Phoenix chapter of Legatus, a professional organization of Catholic business leaders. A native Phoenician, Keith graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in 1987. He then went on to earn his M.B.A. degree from the University of Phoenix in 1989.

Lisa Sponcil
Chief Financial Officer/Chief Compliance Officer

Mrs. Sponcil has worked in financial accounting for more than 30 years.  She oversees and manages the regulatory compliance for the firm.  In addition, she handles the financial reporting and office management responsibilities for the firm.

Mrs. Sponcil began her career working for KPMG/Peat Marwick, a national audit firm in Phoenix specializing in hospitality, government and small business.  Prior to joining RTS Private Wealth Management, she was Director of Accounts Payable Operations for Alliant Foodservice, a six billion dollar food distributor in Phoenix.  Lisa's accounting experience extends into the real estate and medical fields as well.

Lisa grew up in the Phoenix area.  She graduated from Arizona State University in 1985 with a bachelor's degree in Accounting.  She earned her Certified Public Accountant license in 1989.  She served on the Parish Finance Council at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church for twelve years reviewing the financial reporting for the parish and elementary school.

Lisa and her husband Wayne have two daughters, Rebecca and Sarah. In her free time she enjoys camping, volleyball and spending time with her family.
